John Markve is co-founder and managing partner of Markve & Zweifel. He and Jeff started the firm in 2006. The combination of John’s knowledge and experience in estate planning, trust administration, and business planning and Jeff’s real estate expertise has built MZ law as we know it today.

After graduating from high school in Buffalo, MN, John spent time in Denmark as a Rotary exchange student. John returned to the midwest for college, graduating from the University of Minnesota, and left again to teach English in Taiwan before completing his law degree at the University of the Pacific McGeorge School of Law.

John has been practicing law since 1996 and has spent more than 20 years living in Maple Grove where he and his wife raised their three children.
