Maggie M. Montgomery is an attorney whose practice focuses on real estate law, title, and estate planning, with additional experience in mediation and negotiation. Maggie provides practical, detail-oriented counsel to individuals and families throughout Minnesota, guiding clients through every step of the legal process with professionalism and compassion.

Before joining Markve, Zweifel & Heinrich, Maggie developed a diverse legal background across both private practice and corporate environments. She has worked on complex real estate and title insurance matters involving multimillion-dollar transactions, 1031 exchanges, and corporate formation. Her prior work includes serving as an associate attorney handling high-volume title claims, and closing over one billion dollars in real estate transactions since 2019.

Maggie’s experience also extends to estate planning, property transfers, and curative title work, giving her clients the benefit of comprehensive insight into both transactional and potential closing challenges. She brings a collaborative, solution-driven approach to her cases and values clear communication and strong client relationships.

Maggie earned her Juris Doctor from Roger Williams University School of Law, where she served as President of the Cyber Security Law Board and was actively involved in pro bono initiatives connecting law students with community service. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Criminology, Criminal Justice, and Psychology from Southern Oregon University, with a focus on restorative justice and anti-recidivism.

When she’s not practicing law, Maggie enjoys exploring Minnesota’s lakes and trails, following local real estate development trends, engaging in spirited conversations about religion, supporting her community through volunteer and professional engagement, serving various Christian churches in the Twin Cities area, golf, and travel.
