Who We Are:
Markve, Zweifel & Heinrich, PLLC, is a small firm located in Maple Grove, MN.
We value work-life balance, and we back it up: no after-hours email expected, and flexible schedules when life calls for it. We also value a good sense of humor, and a commitment to our clients. We celebrate their milestones and grieve their losses. Within the office, we make each other laugh. We set aside time for checking in or having a staff outing. We take walks. We remember your birthday. We believe we can do both: treat our clients, and each other, with real care, and deliver rigorous, timely work that meets our billable goals.
We are primarily located in Maple Grove, MN near Arbor Lakes. Attorneys may occasionally be asked to staff at additional locations, and support staff may be asked to leave the office for business matters from time to time. We are generally in the office Monday through Friday, 9am to 5pm, because we value being present for clients and for each other. When life calls, like a sick child or a plumber visit, we’re flexible about working from home.
Who You Are:
You communicate clearly and kindly, whether you’re writing to a client or talking through a problem with a colleague. You notice the details that matter and follow through on them, because in our work small errors carry real consequences.
You’re trustworthy with confidential information and honest when something goes wrong, including when the mistake is yours. You manage your time well, prioritizing and keeping several matters moving at once without losing sight of the person behind each one.
You bring warmth without losing professionalism. You’re a good teammate who enjoys a laugh and sees the value in others. You ask for help when you need it, and give it freely when it’s asked of you. You have the ability to work under pressure and within tight deadlines.
You’re curious and coachable, quick to learn our systems and open to feedback. You take initiative, own your work, and care about doing it well.
If you’re an Attorney: You are admitted to the bar or have the ability to become admitted in Minnesota.
If you’re a Paralegal: You hold a paralegal certificate or a degree in Paralegal Studies from an American Bar Association (ABA)-approved paralegal program.
If you’re not an attorney or paralegal but are interested in the law, you may be a great fit as a Legal Assistant. Perhaps you’re a strong writer, good with data, skilled in Microsoft Office, or experienced in customer service, or you have a strength we haven’t thought of yet.
What We Practice:
Estate Planning and Probate is our largest practice area. We also practice Real Estate Law, Business Law, Family Law, and Litigation, with a division that assists with Short Sales.
Whether you are a new attorney wanting to explore, an experienced attorney needing the opportunity to break into new areas, or a seasoned attorney looking to bring your expertise to a team that values it, we may have been waiting for someone just like you.
